The Swedish duo aims for gold in the Italian Prototype ChampionshipRPM celebrates 10 years
In it to win it!
After a 2019 full of learning, growth and a fantastic increase in speed, RacePromote Scandinavia celebrates 10 years as a team and looks forward to a 2020 season where winning is everything. We enter our third season in the Italian Prototype Championship as the sole Nordic team and after two years of podiums, fastest laps and flashes of brilliance, we will translate our accumulated knowledge into great results for Team RPM.
RacePromote Scandinavia will host two great drivers for 2020 in the form of Simon Hultén and Erik Stillman, two of the fastest guys around when it comes to sportscar racing. Both drivers can claim championships on their CV’s and will go all out against some of the best drivers available in one of Europe’s fastest race series, Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi.
The seasons six races will be held on five of the finest tracks Italy has to offer and the calendar looks as follows:
- Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari – Imola – May 29-31
- Misano World Circuit – Misano – June 26-28
- Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello – Mugello – July 17-19
- Misano World Circuit – Misano – August 1-2
- ACI Vallelunga Circuit – Vallelunga – September 18-20
- Autodromo Nazionale di Monza – Monza – October 16-18
Each race weekend will be host to two races each for a total of 12. Every single race will be broadcast on Italian TV and radio as well as livestreamed over several services including Facebook. Every race is covered afterwards in some of Italys largest publications including La Gazzetta, Stadiso, Auto Sprint and La Repibblica.
Crowds on track will be able to enjoy a field of over 20 superfast Wolf GB08 Thunder prototypes. The 378kg, 13 000rpm carbon rocket allows for close racing at speeds beating out everything from GT cars to MotoGP bikes. Hultén has already claimed several podiums in the Thunder over the course of two seasons and will now be accompanied by Erik Stillman who after a trio of test races in 2019 finally enters for a full Italian campaign.

This season you’ll mainly be able to follow us through thick and thin over six race weekends in the Italian Prototype Championship, one of the thougest series around! There’s only one goal for me in 2020; WIN!”
“For the 2020 season I have a tough challenge ahead of me, but the speed is there, that much is ceratin. I aim to improve myself as a driver as much as possible in a new environment.
I’ve been with Team RPM since 2013 and my hope is that they can help me claim the championship or at the very least top three at the end of the year!”
